Turn your calendar into a focus superpower.
Block My Focus Time is a Chrome extension that reads your Google Calendar (with your permission) and automatically blocks distracting websites during focus sessions.
No ads. No tracking. Your calendar data stays on your device.
How Block My Focus Time works
1. Connect Google Calendar (optional)
If you choose, you can connect your Google account using OAuth. The extension requests read-only access to your primary calendar.
2. Mark focus events
Create events that contain keywords like [Focus] or Deep Work in the title. You can customize these keywords in the extension.
3. Choose blocked websites
Select which websites should be blocked during focus sessions, such as social media or video streaming sites.
4. Let Block My Focus Time keep you on track
When a matching focus event is active, the extension automatically blocks your chosen sites in the browser.
Permissions & data usage
Google Calendar (read-only)
We use the Google Calendar API with read-only access to:

We do not modify, delete, or create events. Calendar data is processed locally in the extension and is not stored on our servers.
Local storage
We store your keywords, blocked sites, and a cached subscription status in Chrome storage on your device.
Subscriptions (Pro users)
Payments are handled securely by Polar. We only store minimal subscription information (anonymous identifier, subscription status) in Supabase to unlock Pro features.
